Customer problem

Cobrapparel operates in a competitive national market where demand is spread across garment types, materials, styles, sports and organisation needs. Branded traffic alone could not create a dependable acquisition channel. During the January 2024 to December 2025 engagement, the website needed a search architecture that could answer early research questions, rank commercial category pages and move relevant visitors towards a product, design or enquiry path.

Work delivered

The Rolfe Marketing team ran SEO through the website and content system. Search demand informed product taxonomy, category priorities, page copy and educational content. Explanatory articles linked to the relevant commercial pages, while Semrush and GA4 measured visibility and the quality of organic engagement.

Delivery method

  • 01: Mapped informational, commercial and branded queries to distinct roles in the customer journey.
  • 02: Built and optimised category pages for high-value ranges such as beanies, terry towelling hats and retro jackets.
  • 03: Used educational content to answer material and product questions, then linked that interest to the relevant range.
  • 04: Strengthened titles, headings, internal pathways and page relevance around natural buyer language.
  • 05: Kept product discovery connected to Design Your Own, contact, bulk-enquiry and client-store actions.
  • 06: Reviewed estimated rankings in Semrush alongside observed acquisition and engagement in GA4.

Recorded outcome

During the engagement, Semrush's historical charts indicate that estimated monthly organic traffic rose from roughly 300 in January 2024 to roughly 830 in December 2025, an increase of about 180%, while the ranking footprint expanded from about 395 to about 680 keywords, an increase of about 70%. By the 3 September 2026 Semrush snapshot, 558 of 646 estimated organic visits were non-branded, or 86.4%, and four of the five leading search terms were non-brand queries ranking in positions four or five. Across the wider GA4 window to 2 September 2026, organic search brought in 15,015 users and generated 7,655 tracked GA4 events. It represented 15.22% of users but 31.73% of those events, with 27.75% of organic-acquired users completing at least one tracked event and 1 minute 31 seconds average engagement.

What the evidence supports

The strongest signal is the connection between education and product discovery. An explanatory terry-towelling article became the site's largest estimated organic landing page, while product pages for beanies, terry towelling hats and retro jackets also sat among the top five.
